On behalf of Asia-Pacific Society for Applied Phycology (APSAP) and Nanchang University Organizing Committee, it is our pleasure to invite you to the 10th Asia-Pacific Conference on Algal Biotechnology, Sept. 27-30, 2019, in Nanchang, Jiangxi, China. This is a three-day international conference consisting of keynote speech, oral presentation, poster showcase, and technical tours.
The theme of APCAB is “Accelerating Novel Algal Research and Sustainable Development for a Better Environment”. This conference aims to provide an open platform for the communication and information sharing in the field of Algal Biotechnology, so as to promote the cooperation among academics, government and industries. Scholars from some world-known universities and institutes will serve as academic committee members and representatives of global companies in algae, food, fishery, feed, agricultural and chemical industries will attend for technical exchange and cooperation.
The topics of this conference include but not limited to: (1) Algal species: commercial potential, physiology and molecular biology;(2) Emerging technologies and bioreactors to scale up algae production and harvesting; (3) Use of algae for environmental protection, resources recycling, and climate change mitigation; (4) Exploitation of value-added algal biomass for food and feed; (5) Government policies on algae research and algal industries. (6) Young Scientists’ Forum.
Besides academic events and technical tours, we will provide several social and cultural events for you to learn more about China.
